Group Visits – We welcome group visits with tours with various options throughout the year and in open season we offer a number of garden tour options – Get in touch or go to ‘Visiting the Walled Garden’ and see how we are able to accommodate you’ please create as a link through.
Please note we also provide external talks on a variety of fascinating subjects – please email us with your requirements and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Open Wednesdays begin on 6th May 2026 right through until 30th September from 10.30am -4pm.

Entrance is £7.50 (£2.50 per child and under 5’s and carers are FREE) and includes a fascinating tour (supplementary tours may be available on the day).
This is our second year partnering with both the RHS and Historic Houses and entrance with proof of membership is FREE to the cardholder.
Season tickets, which are incredible value, are £20 and are available from the entrance kiosk.
The wonderful Handlebards return on the 8th July for an amazing production of Shakespeare’s As you Like It – We cant wait to see them in the glorious backdrop of the Walled Garden again. For more information including ticket purchase:
Our much loved Children’s Summer Workshops will run again with details to follow soon.
The Bug Hunt at the Walled Garden is on 24th July from 10.30 – 1pm – for all things creepy crawly in the wonder Walled Garden. No need to book – Pay at the garden gate.
Adults are £3 Children £5 and under 2’s and carers are FREE.
18th September is Heritage Open Day! – A fantastic opportunity to welcome visitors to the garden on a Friday – and entry is FREE!! 11am -3pm – Come and see the garden in all its glory as we celebrate Britains largest heritage festival.
Autumn Open Day is on the 28th of October from 10.30am – 1pm for all crafty things Autumnal in the Walled Garden – Outdoor fun for all the family.
