External Talks
For over 25 years, the Walled Garden Project has been growing, researching, and sharing the remarkable story of the historic Walled Garden at Luton Hoo Estate. At the heart of every talk is our beautiful Capability Brown-designed walled garden and the dedicated volunteer team whose passion and knowledge have helped the project flourish.
Members of the Walled Garden Project deliver engaging and informative talks to clubs, societies, community groups, and organisations on a diverse range of topics connected to the garden, its history, heritage, restoration, and ongoing development.
Each talk is carefully researched and presented with accompanying slides and supporting materials, offering audiences an insightful and enjoyable experience. A question-and-answer session is included at the end of every presentation, providing an opportunity for further discussion and exploration of the subject.
These pre-bookable talks are available throughout the year. Groups are charged a talk fee together with speaker mileage expenses.
